UNDP: No gender gap in human development in Belarus
MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) - Belarus is among 16 countries where women's human development index is equal to or exceeds that of men's, reads the new UNDP National Human Development Report 2007-2014, BelTA has learned.
Sidorsky promises all-round support to Portuguese investors in Customs Union
MOSCOW, 18 July (BelTA) – Sergei Sidorsky, member of the collegium (minister) of industry and agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), promised that Portuguese investors will get all-round support in setting up new production facilities in the Customs Union, BelTA learned from the press service of the EEC Commission after the meeting of the EEC delegation led by Sergei Sidorsky with the representatives of the Investment and Foreign Trade Agency under the aegis of the Portuguese government and the business community of this country. The meeting took place in Lisbon.

New book about partisans’ role in Operation Bagration published in Belarus
MINSK, 2 July (BelTA) – In the run-up to the 70th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from Nazi invaders the department of archives and records under the Justice Ministry and the National Archives issued a collection of documents and materials "Partisans in Operation Bagration". Its presentation was held in Minsk on 1 July, BelTA has learned.
